The Jetty House is located close to the wharf, and was the main transport base for many years. Still an active fishing port, Southport is a haven for fishing and cruising boats.

Built in 1876 as a home for the family of Joseph Graves as well as mill office and store, then home to three generations of the Hay Family before becoming holiday home for thousands of Hobart and Huon School children,The Jetty House is now a family and pet friendly B&B.

The Jetty House offers a comfortable base for the exploration of the Southern wilderness area.
